Job Description

  1. Design, implement, and maintain automation workflows using Ansible and Jenkins to streamline deployment, configuration, and management processes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop automation strategies, and provide technical solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain scripts, playbooks, and plugins for automation tasks, ensuring they are well-documented and version controlled.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, systems, and applications by leveraging automation tools and Windows administration skills.
  5. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations to enhance system reliability and performance.
  6. Collaborate with the development team to integrate deployment pipelines and automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  7. Implement security measures, best practices, and compliance standards to protect infrastructure and data.
  8. Work closely with the operations team to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure and proposing relevant improvements.
  10. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Skills & Requirements

TechOps with Ansible / Jenkins + Windows Admin Proven experience as a TechOps Engineer or a similar role, with a focus on automation, Ansible, Jenkins, and Windows Administration. Strong knowledge of Ansible and Jenkins for deployment, configuration management, and automation. Expertise in Windows administration, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting. Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD practices, and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, is a plus. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Relevant certifications, such as Ansible Certification, Jenkins Certification, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, are a plus.
