Job Description

The skillset requirements for a CI/CD engineer, with a focus on AWS services:

• In-depth knowledge and experience working with AWS services, including but not limited to CloudFormation Scripts for infrastructure provisioning, IAM, Lambda and Security Groups. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, along with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, to create scalable and portable application environments.

• Strong proficiency in Git, including branching strategies, merging, and resolving conflicts, to effectively manage source code repositories and collaborate with development teams. Expertise in Ansible and Jenkins

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as AWS CloudWatch, Open Search, Logstash etc to collect metrics and logs for application performance analysis and troubleshooting.

• Strong collaboration skills to effectively work with development teams, operations teams, and stakeholders, and excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.

Skills & Requirements

Technical Qualifications: Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent. 8 - 12 years of strong industry experience in DevOps Tooling and infrastructure automation. Broad knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in Linux-based environments Strong knowledge of cloud environments preferably AWS Strong knowledge of orchestration tool (Kubernetes) Experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools (e.g. Jenkins) Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible) Strong knowledge of container based environment (Docker Containers) Strong scripting skills (Python, Java, Javascript, Nodejs, Maven, Shell, PowerShell, Perl) Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Prior consulting, advisory, or professional services experience is preferred Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills Experience with source control tools such as GIT, TFS and SVN
