We are seeking a talented Azure Synapse Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics. As an Azure Synapse Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines and analytics solutions to drive data-driven decision-making within our organization.
● Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics (or ADB and ADF) to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse.
● Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models within Azure Synapse to support analytical and reporting requirements.
● Query Optimization: Write efficient SQL queries and optimize performance to ensure the responsiveness of data queries and reports.
● Data Integration: Integrate data from different sources, both on-premises and cloud, into Azure Synapse for a unified data view.
● Data Security: Implement and maintain data security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect sensitive information.
● Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor data pipelines and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure data availability and accuracy.
● Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
● Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of data pipelines, data models, and processes.Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
● Experience with Azure data stack around ADF, ADB, Synapse, ADLSG2 etc.
● Proven experience in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on Azure Synapse Analytics.
● Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
● Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure data services is a plus.
● Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
● Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills.
● Azure certification(s) related to data engineering or analytics is a plus.
