Job Description
- Expert knowledge on AIX Server Administration (AIX 7, Power Systems, LPAR, POWERVM)
- Experience to AIX OS installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Experience in patch management
- Experience in Server Monitoring and configure Monitoring by using Native tool (HMC) as well as Industry Standard tools (SolarWinds).
- Expert knowledge on AIX OS troubleshooting skills and tools
- Expert knowledge for capacity & performance management on AIX server
- Experience to install and maintain NIM Server, created Spot, LPP source and resource
- Experience to migrate server from lower version of OS to latest version OS
- Experience to upgrade firmware
- Experience on HMC tool
- Experience in performance tuning and hardening of AIX servers
- Experience in network and storage configuration on AIX Servers
- Experience in Incident Management and implement workaround to resolve incidents within SLA.
- Experience to perform RCA and work with OEM to implement permanent solution
- Experience to work with Application Team to deploy software and application on server and release management
Skills & Requirements
Exceptional communication Skills
Experience in vendor coordination and stakeholder management
ITIL Knowledge & Certification – Incident, Problem, Service Request, and Change Management.
Experience in documentation to build Operational and configuration documents
Flexible to work in Shift (24/7) and to provide support on weekend
