As a Microsoft Azure Purview Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in data domains to lead client engagements designing and implementing various applications in the areas of data cataloging, data lineage, security, data quality and governYou will work with diverse enterprises to design and deploy industry-leading solutions to improve the protection of data within their on-premises and cloud environments. You will work with teams involving security engineers, consultants, and architects on multiple client engagements. The ideal candidate for this job will be an individual who has strong experience in data cataloging and data lineage and is willing to grow their skillset into other data related areas.
Skills Must have: Data landscape discovery in hybrid clouds & on-premise environments, 2+ years implementing various enterprise data catalog & lineage capabilities using Microsoft Purview, 5+ years implementing various enterprise data catalog & lineage capabilities with other tools like Informatica, Collibra, Alation, or similar tools, Data Classification and Setting Data Scan on structured, un-structured and semi-structured data assets, Sensitive data identification and labeling through out of box features and custom policies such as rights management, encryption etc, Data Loss prevention, Experience in configuring and presenting data lineage, Data Governance Policies, procedures, Security and Privacy Management - Information Protection Standard (PHI, PII, HIPA, PCI), Experience in both Purview Governance and Purview Compliance implementation. Nice to have: Experience with Snowflake, and other Azure technologies like ADLS Gen2, ADF, Databricks etc
