• The candidate is responsible for the data workload management, capacity management, database & data warehouse tuning, designing, and creating data schemas & objects adding users, groups, and other administrative tasks.
• Design and develop solutions using AWS database and data technologies
• Design and develop ELT code using AWS technologies
• Design and develop data access REST layer on Python or Java
• Maintain (like replication, failover, rollback) and troubleshoot issues optimize the solutions built on the AWS technologies
• Optimize (performance tuning) of database queries and REST API layer
• Leverage and design custom solutions to monitor system performance and self-heal when issues arise
• Day-to-day:
o Work with the Product Owner and business leaders to analyze and understand the current state of the business processes, identify automation opportunities & the requirements for the TO-BE state
o Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process
o Develop the TO-BE design that addresses the core needs adhering to the Blue Prism design principles & conventions
Identifying and communicating the technical infrastructure requirements
Ensure the design is understandable, operable, maintainable, secure, performs under load, observable and is available
o Program the core bots using test-driven methodologies
Program the core bots and integration touch-points in support of end-to-end workflow
Prepare test data for all phases of assurance (from unit testing to quality assurance to UAT)
Track issues, bugs and fix them in a timely fashion
Ensure the enterprise change & release mgmt methodologies are applied
O Perform administrative tasks like user management, scheduling, monitoring resources & capacity, resolving exceptions & issues, moving packages across different environments.
Monitor, refine & improve processes and workflows based on customer feedback
o Create and maintain automation related documentation like PDD, SDD, DFD
o Participate in agile ceremonies and author detailed stories & tasks, as required by the Product Owner & Scrum Master
Project delivery:
• Overall IT experience of 8+ years • Must have a minimum experience of 5 years in software development using Python, .NET, SQL, Javascript with solid proficiency in work queues, API-based integration, Visual Basic for Application • Must have a minimum experience of 5 years developing and deploying bot-based automations using latest version of the Blue Prism platform • Must have a minimum experience of 2 years performing Blue Prism administrative tasks like user management, scheduling, monitoring resources & capacity, resolving exceptions & issues, and managing package releases across different environments.
