Job Description

• Should have hands on experience of detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.

 

• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements, Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.

 

• Design, customize, configure and testing of PS module, Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.

 

• Integration knowledge with CO, FI and MM, SD, PM, and PP.

 

• Document functional designs, test cases and results.

 

• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements. Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.

 

• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.

 

• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.

 

• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members Desired Skills & Experience.

 

• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.

 

• Must be results oriented, and demonstrate an attitude of – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.

Skills & Requirements

Skills: • Good configuration knowledge of PS structures: WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement planning, Project quotation, Time sheets, Goods issues, and other project management activities in SAP PS. • Good Configuration knowledge of Status Profile, Selection Profile, Project Profile, Settlement Profile, Network Profile, Network Type, • Good Configuration knowledge of Activity Control Key, Access Control Key, Cost Component, Execution Service Profile, Budget Management, Number Ranges for Budgeting, Revenues and Earnings, WBS Scheduling Parameters, Versions. Qualifications: • SAP PS Consultant with B.E./B.Tech/ MCA/M.Tech/MBA and having minimum 3 to 5 years of experience and 2 to 3 end to end implementation experience in Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution companies in India and outside India and experience in public sector.
