• High levels of Testing Principles expertise with the ability to manage a variety of testing types for example: System Test, SIT, UAT and Performance testing in a complex project and agile environments.
• Proven track record of working within a variety of test frameworks and methodologies in particular Agile and Dev Ops.
• Demonstrable experience of in cloud infrastructure, APIs and UIs.
• Good levels of interpersonal; organisational, planning, communication, influencing and problem solving skills.
• Basic to advanced understanding of SQL.
• Understanding of tools and principles used in ALM with the ability to advocate to others:
o Automated software testing o Agile – Scrum/Kanban o Manual Testing
o User Acceptance Testing
• A good understanding/knowledge of current major technologies, particularly around the Microsoft stack including:
o .NET Framework, C# o WebAPI (RESTful) o SQL o Selenium Webdriver / Coded UI o XUnit / NUnit / MSTest o Gherkin / Cucumber o Load / Performance Testing
• A good understanding/knowledge of the following concepts: o Object Oriented Design / Domain Driven Design o Agile development / SCRUM/Kanban methodology / DevOps o Test Driven Development / Behavioural Driven Development o Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
• An understanding/knowledge of the following tools: o Visual Studio 2015+, ReSharper o VSTS / TFS / Jira o Xamarin.UITest o Specflow o Jmeter o Postman o Trello o Jira o Aha
