The key job responsibilities for Ariba Tech resource:

Analyze, plan, design, develop, and customize Ariba Buyer solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements to enable automate the Procure to Pay cycle using Ariba solutions. Requires high level of skills in supporting Ariba applications. Must be innovative.

Work you’ll do
A unique opportunity to be a part of Ariba team to support and do enhancements for the Ariba Buyer & Contracts application. You will be responsible for delivering customizations to the Ariba application which supports automated procurement.

• Help in design, development, and support and configuration management of procurement applications.
• Communicate implications in architectural decisions, issues and impediments during design review & development / support to Manager/Architect.
• Provide input to approach, estimates and design thoughts for project initiatives.
• Create technical specification and establish traceability to business requirements and application architecture/design.
• Ability to work with members of the team in near and remote locations for successful implementation of solution and resolution of issues.
• Participate and lead technical discussion when needed during design, development, test & deployment phase.
• Ability to do configuration, development and support duties for Source to Pay applications.
• Seeking and capitalizing on the opportunities to improve solution quality and efficiency.
• Exhibiting high level of professional flexibility and volunteering innovation and new ideas.

Skills & Requirements

Technical Skills: • Implementation experience on Ariba On Demand solutions. • 4+ years’ experience in development and implementation or support of Ariba Downstream modules using AML, Ariba API, Java and AQL. • 2+ years’ experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server as backend is preferred. • Experience with integration of Ariba and ERP (like SAP) using middleware technologies (like PI) is preferred. • Knowledge or experience on SAP is a plus. • Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills, is required. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in non-technical terms. Preferred: • Working knowledge of Eclipse and open source IDE is a plus. • Experience in working with On Demand/On Cloud Ariba solution is a plus. • Experience in working with SAP Field glass solution is a plus. • Experience in web services is a plus. • Experience in Agile development environment is a plus. Project Skills: • Strong communication skills regarding technical topics and remote collaboration skills are critical to this role. • Demonstrates an ability to provide accurate project estimates and timelines. • Demonstrates an ability to deliver on project commitments. • Produces work that consistently meets quality standards.
