Job Description

SAP MM/WM (Material Management & Warehouse Management) Lead.

Mandatory Skills: MM-WM.

• SAP MM Consultant with B.E./B.Tech/ MCA/M.Tech/MBA and having minimum 5 to 7 years of experience and 3 to 5 end to end implementation experience in Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution companies in India and outside India.

• Building an organization structure of material management and setting up related configuration such as valuation area plants, purchase organization, warehouse structure, storage location, etc.

• Finalizing the material and purchasing groups, payment terms, pricing procedures, and Incoterms.

• Set pricing procedures are by defining the access sequence and condition types.

• Define and set up a taxation structure.

• Finalizing and validating number ranges for vendor master, material master, and having all purchase and inventory documents in place.

• Setting up split valuation that is based on different valuation categories such as grade and source of materials, country or origin, etc.

• Configure the release procedure to purchase documents such as purchase requisition and purchase order.

• Configure the Stock Transport Orders.

• Configure the complete Procure to Pay cycle.

• Configure Service orders.

• Preparing document for testing.

• Prepare master data templates for different objects like vendor master, material master, Info-records, GST, purchase order, and source list.

• Vendor development to have alternate sources of supply of raw materials.

• Vendor Evaluation.

• Batch Management.

• LIFO\FIFO

• Consignment Stock, Pipeline material.

• Testing integration with other modules like SD, PP, PM QM and FI/CO.

• Prepare the cut-over strategy for Material Management object.

• Prepare the user manual and impart training to various business process owners.

• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.

• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.

• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.

• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.

• Good to have 3 years of Experience in the Functions of Warehouse Management.

• Hands on in WM processes and understanding of business flow/functionalities around material handling /purchase /procurement /replenishment strategies /assortment & planning, warehouse management, fleet management, route management, physical inventory count processes.

• Set up Warehouse Structures:- Storage Types, Bins, Sections, TR/TO, placement and removal strategies, Batch Management, SLED in WM, Posting changes, Replenishment procedure in WM, Physical Inventory in IM, Delivery process in WM.

• Determination, Goods Movement, WM Set up, Picking/Placement Strategy Configuration and Handling Unit Management.

• Worked on WM integration with SD Deliveries, Shipping and transportation.

Skills & Requirements

• Should have hands on experience of detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements. • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements, Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs. • Design, customize, configure and testing of MM module, Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions. • Document functional designs, test cases and results. • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements. Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects. • Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team. • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required. • Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members Desired.
