Job Description
• Experience on Citrix ADC, Storefront, Citrix PVS 7.x / MCS 7.x, Citrix UPM, Citrix Cloud, Citrix AppLayering, Citrix ShareFile
• PVS Image creation / management (Must), XenApp 7.x, XenDesktop 7.x Administration experience
• Windows Server 2008R2/ 2012R2 / 2016/
• Microsoft App-V 4.6 / 5.1
• Troubleshooting Virtual Desktops infrastructure around MS Teams and App latency and frequent slow logon issues
• Should be able to troubleshoot authentication issues
• FSLogix experience preferred
• Hands on experience on Citrix SSO configuration using Ping Identity
• Knowledge on Active Directory, Group Policies, load balancing concepts, Image creation / management, SSL / VPN, Dell WMS, Dell VXRail
Responsibilities
• Independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time
• Advise, plan and lead upgrade/migration activities performed on Citrix environment
• Provide support on escalated INCs and perform root cause analysis of a given issue
• Take ownership of problems identified in Citrix environment to accelerate resolution
• Resolve L2 escalated issues and engage vendor support to troubleshoot complex/critical issues if needed
• Coordinate with other teams in order to resolve Citrix related problems
• Report environment statistics to project leaders, customer senior managers
• You have a keen eye for detail and will offer deep technical insight into vendor optimizations and best practices around performance enhancements, security, monitoring and other features to enhance the environment you're building out.
• Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members
• Suggest improvements and design changes to Citrix environment based on common issues and best practices
• Perform functional testing, QA and failover testing when required
